Super Senior

Super Senior League play (and USTA Georgia State Championship participation) during 2012 will continue to be limited to players age 60 years and older. For players participating in the 70’s Super Seniors league, or in the 2011 State Championships, the age limit will also remain 70 years or older.

The USTA League age changes that apply to other leagues starting in June 2012 will not apply to Super Seniors until after the State Championships in October 2012.

SCTA’s first Super Senior League in Spring 2011 consisted of two 3.5 level Ladies teams. One team progressed to the USTA Georgia State Championships in Savannah in October.

One Super Senior League Season is planned for 2012, again in the Spring. The tentative schedule has play starting April 4, 2012 and ending around mid-May. Time of day for starting matches TBD.

Format of play is 3 lines of doubles, but this can be modified if all teams in a flight are large enough large enough to field 4 lines

Team registration begins February 3, 2012.
