USTA Mixed Doubles is one of the
fastest-growing USTA programs and offers competitive play in a
social atmosphere. Players must use their NTRP computer rating
or, if a player does not have a current rating, they may
self-rate in order to participate. Men and women combine their
ratings on either
6.0, 7.0, 8.0, or
9.0 teams.
Matches are held on Friday evenings and
consist of three doubles positions. A third set tiebreak is
played rather than a full third set. The Spring season is
registering RIGHT NOW. The deadline for teams to
register is March 1, 2010. Play is scheduled to begin Friday,
March 26, 2010.

As with USTA League Tennis, local
winners advance to championship play that ends at a regional
level. The Southern Crescent Mixed Doubles League is played in
the Spring and Fall.
